Miss Phillips Green Army

Hey I'm on T.V.!

Great to see Kenakena's School spirit alive and strong today. It was also nice to see some of our top athletes competing hard and fair.

It was a very close match against Paraparaumu Beach School but unfortunately we fell a bit short in the end. Apart from the Touch team our top kickers showed some great skill and achieved some good results too.

Thanks to Miss Phillips who organised and coached the teams.

Airing of this event is on Sunday at 8:00am on TV3. Tune in and see if you made the cut.

Hope you enjoyed today.

Time Flys When You're Having Fun!

Can you believe it is already week 6?? Reports are only just around the corner!

It has been a busy start to 2010 with lots of great things happening and everyone has been doing a great job. Congrats to you all!

Well done to everyone that has completed their english and maths testing, especially the Year 7's. I know it seems like a lot but it is really useful information for us teachers to help you make improvements in these areas.

Gymnastics has been a hit but unfortunately it will be ending this week. Hopefully we can start doing some syndicate sport when it finishes.

Well done to all of you who have been getting involved with different school activities such as sailing, kapahaka, netball, hockey, PCT, Rugby, KK Sound, Digi-Kids and Peer Mediators. Make sure to keep listening out for anything new and exciting that is happening at Kenakena. Keep the school spirit high, work hard and have fun.
